Coming to the end...this was a struggle to get out

today. A few false starts, abandoned and had to

finish one image. You win some,you loose some.

 Something a little different. Second attempt...lost first drawing.

Getting back to this image...long process

on the colouring stage.

I used traditional media for the colours, using

the same layering techniques with watercolours

and brushed inks. The difference is the layers

are digital and final effects are done on Photoshop

and Painter. Trying to meet a deadline and finish this off.

The black ran, not enough dry time, worked out as

grey wash.

Another random paint, find a picture

experiment. Touches of SHARPIE paint pen

for high lights.

I started with random shapes, pushing

the paint around. This is upside down,

from the original orientation.

I turned the image around to "see"

the possibilities and found the subjects,

with help from red pencil.

A touch of pencil crayons and inks

with a brush pen to finish.

Same process as above...

With an interesting result.

 This is the cover to the new sketchbook.

I was not happy with the last one, since it was

limited by scanning (didn't lay flat).

I used oil based white paint Sharpie

for the base, and black marker for fine lines.

The line drawings here are done

with a COPIC .5 liner.
